After a successful tour of the East Coast of the US back in January 2026, Mark Steiner & Ingunn Holmen are working on material in the studio for a new album, and occasionally performing live. They are also about to release a new single, "People Ain't No Good," a playful interpretation of the classic song by Australian artist Nick Cave, only now as a darkwave / dream pop duet. Beyond an upcoming gig during Litterær hagefest på Løkken and a festival in Tønsberg this August, there are rumours of a small tour supporting MICK HARVEY in October. See the tour dates.
Two years have passed now since the latest full-length Mark Steiner & His Problems album, "BLACK HOLE," featuring Ted Parsons, Leon Muraglia, and Romer Paluch-Edwards, and Ingunn Holmen, along with special guests Pavel Cingl, Line Saus and Thomas Borge, was launched worldwide via streaming services (and on limited edition compact disc) on Friday, 26. January!
